Who owns LondonEnergy?

LondonEnergy Ltd is wholly owned by the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) and is contracted to manage North London’s waste.

Who regulates the waste management activities of LondonEnergy?

The company’s activities are regulated by the Environment Agency (EA) the regulatory agency charged by the Government to look after the environment. All our sites operate under Environmental Permit Regulations. The EA monitor our activities and ensure compliance. Data on our averaged Energy Centre emissions is published monthly. The EcoPark Compost Centre operates to the standards set out by the British Standards Institution’s PAS 100 standard.

Which parts of London do you serve?

We have contracts with the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) to manage materials from its constituent boroughs (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest).
