LondonEnergy’s has once again demonstrated its commitment to employee engagement achieving a 1 Star accreditation from Best Companies. The award sees LondonEnergy’s reclaim its position in the second tier of the accreditation scheme run by the highly regarded organiser of the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ lists.

LondonEnergy’s has once again demonstrated its commitment to employee engagement achieving a 1 Star accreditation from Best Companies. The award sees LondonEnergy’s reclaim its position in the second tier of the accreditation scheme run by the highly regarded organiser of the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ lists.

To assess the accreditation, LondonEnergy’s employees were asked to score a set of core statements about their wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth, team, leadership and much more. The results were then combined and normalised to give the LondonEnergy a Best Companies Index (BCI) score – an exclusive and academically verified measure of engagement which provides accurate and detailed insight into employees’ feelings.

Commenting on the recognition, LondonEnergy’s Managing Director, Jim Kendall, said: “Firstly, we were delighted with the response rate to the Best Companies survey. This in itself is a reflection of an engaged team and ensures the results accurately represent our employees sentiment. Whilst independent recognition that we are serious about employee engagement is always good, the insight that the survey provides is equally if not more important. We will take this information and use it to ensure we are continually improving as we aim to progress through the levels of accreditation.”

The Best Companies accreditation is a standard of excellence towards which many organisations aspire and is regarded as a significant achievement as it is directly based on employee feedback. The range of organisations achieving the 1 Star accreditation is hugely diverse and includes Fred Perry, The White Company, ISG, Mindful Chef and Mears Group.
