LondonWaste announces rebrand

The change reflects the company’s focus on high quality outputs and its transition to a business that is responsible for the management of valuable resources through reuse, recycling and the production of sustainable energy.

This is further emphasised in the company’s new strapline ‘Powering the Circular Economy’ which is designed to recognise the company’s position as North London’s leading producer of sustainable energy and the Company’s intent to lead on raising awareness of the need to develop more sustainable business models and ways of life.

LondonEnergy manages the household waste from over 1.9 million residents across 7 North London boroughs and generates enough energy to power 80,000 homes. Every year it sustainably diverts more than 698,000 tonnes of waste from landfill, saving approx. 300,000† tonnes of CO2 every year. The company is one of the largest ‘energy from waste’ producers in the UK and contributes over £15m into the local London economy per annum.
