Free DIY materials
You can collect DIY materials like bricks, slabs, tiles or timber for free from this site. Please note that the materials change every week so we might not always have what you’re looking for. If you’d like to drop off or collect any DIY materials from this recycling centre, please speak to a member of staff. Unwanted but good condition materials can be dropped off at any recycling centre and will be made available through this scheme.
Restrictions on hardcore, rubble, soil and stones
Each north London household can take up to six standard rubble sacks to a recycling centre each month. This includes concrete, brick, stones, pebbles, sand and gravel. A standard rubble sack is 51cm by 76cm (20 inches by 30 inches) or equivalent.
