Following last month’s announcement that LondonEnergy had received the highly regarded ‘Best Companies’ accreditation, the company has now been named in the Top 5 Best Companies to Work For in the Utilities Sector and as one of the Top 75 Best Large Companies to Work For in London.

The Best Companies accreditation programme is widely viewed as the standard for workplace engagement in the UK, recognising organisations who understand the importance of workplace engagement and genuinely value their employees.

Commenting on the company’s position in the Best Companies league tables, LondonEnergy’s HR Director, Vivienne Morris, said: We’re delighted to have ranked so highly in both the London and Utilities Sector league tables.  Best Companies provides us with valuable independent assessment of our engagement which is solely based on our employees sentiment. As part of our commitment to making LondonEnergy a great place to work we will continue to identify new ways to better engage our employees and we have set our sights on recognition in the National League over the coming years.”

To assess the accreditation, LondonEnergy’s employees were asked to score a set of core statements about their wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth, team, leadership and much more. The results were then combined and normalised to give the LondonEnergy a Best Companies Index (BCI) score – an exclusive and academically verified measure of engagement which provides accurate and detailed insight into employees’ feelings.
