As a consumer it is within your statutory right to receive a refund for goods that are either:
- unfit for purpose,
- not as described, or
- of unsatisfactory quality
As the Reuse & Recycling centre’s (RRC) Second Time Around shop operates principally to divert items that can be re-used from the waste stream, we are unable to offer exchanges or direct replacements. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Customers are reminded that the items for sale in this shop have been selected from the waste stream, and all goods should be thoroughly inspected before purchase.
We will therefore not accept refund requests for faulty goods if the fault was identified to you and you were aware of the likelihood of there being a fault at the time of purchase, or if you damage goods once purchased.
Only in exceptional circumstances will LEL consider refund requests, and only if the request is made within 14 days from the date of purchase. Refund requests must be emailed to Enquiries@londonenergyltd.com, with ‘Refund’ in the subject title for approval. In the instance a refund request has been successfully approved, the full purchase amount will be credited back into the original account used when purchasing.
